Agility Robotics Bolsters Leadership Team
Jennifer Hunter is appointed CFO, Ana Lang joins as General Counsel, Damion Shelton and Daniel Diez take on expanded operations and strategy roles
Agility Robotics, creator of the market-leading humanoid robot Digit, today announced that it has bolstered its leadership team with the appointments of two seasoned executive leaders. Jennifer Hunter has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the business’ accounting, finance, manufacturing, supply chain and quality operations, and Ana Lang recently joined in the role of General Counsel. Additionally, amidst Agility’s strategic focus on productization and commercialization, Damion Shelton is stepping into the role of Chief Engagement Officer, effective immediately. Daniel Diez has also taken on expanded responsibilities in his role as Chief Strategy Officer including business development and operational oversight of the company’s Project Management Office.

Jennifer (Johnston) Hunter, Chief Financial Officer
Hunter is an accomplished finance and operations leader with a specialized focus in operational, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain finance. She has a proven track record in providing strategic business operations leadership across various business life stages, spanning from Series A startups to large multinational corporations. Hunter joins Agility from SunPower Corporation where she served as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Ms. Hunter led end to end operations and operational strategies for SunPower Corporation’s $1.5B Residential Solar Business inclusive of supply chain, fulfillment & installation operations, quality, sales operations, safety, customer care with a team of 3,000 employees globally.
Prior to joining SunPower, Hunter served as Chief Financial and Operations Officer of the Robotic AI start-up, Nimble Robotics. In this role, she was responsible for the company’s finance, accounting, sales, human resources, fulfillment operations, manufacturing, customer success, supply chain, construction, launch, facilities, and legal functions.
Hunter previously held various high level financial strategy and operations roles at companies including Amazon, General Electric, Bristol Myers Squibb, Saint-Gobain, and the Gillette Company.
Anastasia Lang, General Counsel
Lang is a seasoned legal executive with experience leading legal strategy and operations at technology companies. Ms. Lang joins Agility from Magic Leap where she served as Chief Legal Officer. In her role at Magic Leap, Lang was responsible for the legal, compliance, regulatory, and business development functions seeing the company through two major product launches.
Prior to Magic Leap, Lang was a corporate attorney in the Emerging Companies & Venture Capital practice at Perkins Coie LLP.
New Responsibilities for Damion Shelton and Daniel Diez
Damion Shelton has taken on the role of Chief Engagement Officer, shifting his focus and responsibilities to leadership of Agility's commercial and investor engagements. Damion Shelton is a multifaceted roboticist focused on building automation solutions that solve real world challenges, starting with improving logistics and warehouse operations. He previously served as CEO of Agility from 2015 to 2024. Prior to co-founding Agility in 2015, Shelton co-founded threeRivers 3D, where he served as CTO and designer of a low-cost, high-volume laser scanner for novice users in the healthcare space until that company’s acquisition in 2012. Shelton holds a B.S. in Bioengineering and B.A. in History and Philosophy of Science from the University of Pittsburgh, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University.
Additionally, Agility’s Chief Strategy Officer, Daniel Diez, has also been appointed to oversee the company’s Business Development and Project Management Office. Since joining Agility in May 2024, Diez has been instrumental in transforming the company’s go-to-market strategy and its successful execution in addition to raising the company's profile as a leader in humanoid robotics. Diez draws on a long track record of leading business transformations for companies including Magic Leap, Transform Brands, the owner of the iconic Kenmore appliance brand, and R/GA, a global marketing and innovation agency.
